A five-year multi-entry UAE tourist visa, which was recently announced, would further spice up the hospitality sector and will ease the movement of tourists, traders and visitors to and from the UAE.

This was revealed by Ayman Ashor, Cluster General Manager, Al Bandar Rotana and Arjaan by Rotana, adding that currently, the country hosts 21 million visitors each year and this visa aims at elevating the UAE’s position as a global tourism hub.

Ashor noted that hotel apartments will be a vital beneficiaries for such long-term stays, adding that the MICE (meetings, incentives, conference, and exhibition) industry in the country would get a boost from this great move.

He mentioned that Al Bandar Rotana was fully booked in Jan. 2020 and he expects over 90 per cent of occupancy growth in the first quarter of 2020.
