Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s much-loved gastropub returns with a new menu of British Classics and plenty of space for all the sporting action
If you’ve been dreaming of classic British comfort food and getting together with friends to watch the football, F1 or cricket, the wait is officially over. Dhow & Anchor, Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s much-loved British gastropub is officially back in action this weekend with a new menu and plenty of space to feast on a full English, fish & chips or classic roast dinner whilst catching the end of the football season.
British favourites remain a firm fixture on the new menu with everything from Bangers and Mash to Brick Lane Ruby Murray whilst hand cut chips are offered with D&A curry sauce. Famed for the best fish & chips in town and its daily Roast Dinner with all the trimmings, guests can enjoy their meat with crisp roasties, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and rich gravy. Sticky Toffee Pudding and Apple Crumble top the line-up of puddings served with ice cream and custard. Located in one of Dubai’s favourite family hotels, kids will also love fish goujons with mushy peas, a mini chicken curry or mac & cheese.
It’s time to mark your calendars as the entertainment starts with fish and chip night and a free drink on Sunday, Dhow & Angels Ladies Night on Thursday with 3 complimentary beverages and 20% off dinner as well as a weekday happy hour from 4pm – 7pm and weekends from 3pm – 7pm. D&A is currently closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Earlier this year, the gastropub doubled in size with a spacious new upstairs area that features a new bar, cosy seating and additional TV screens for sports fans making it perfect for socially distanced socialising this summer.
