Tucked away in the heart of DIFC, a concealed gem is ready to be discovered

The Hidden Hog, a modern bistro bar serving elevated traditional European cuisine, has opened its doors in the heart of Dubai’s thriving financial district, ready to be discovered.

We tried the seafood menu and loved it even though the restaurant is more geared towards meat eaters. For my friends who tried the meat option, The Hidden Hog is a must-try venue offering quintessential dishes that have been created with love by Italian Chef Enrico Paiola.

It is the first and only venue in DIFC to receive a license to serve non-halal fare so caters more to an expat audience. Offering an engaging atmosphere that transcends great food and drink, the sumptuous menu includes highlight dishes such as traditional charcuterie, slow cooked real ribs lathered in smoky BBQ sauce, Parma croquettes, sous vide cheeks and much more. Using only the finest fresh ingredients, guests can enjoy a truly authentic European culinary experience.

I found out about Luca Gagliardi, F&B Director, The Hidden Hog from some of his Chef friends in Maldives who said I have to try other dishes at his restaurant even if I am a pescatarian.

Using only the finest ingredients, each dish has been created with the philosophy of togetherness in mind, offering many expats in Dubai a taste of some traditional home comforts.

In addition to its unique menu, The Hidden Hog has introduced an array of offers, including a daily full English breakfast special, a two-course business lunch and delicious sharing menu. Further exciting additions are expected to be announced soon including a local delivery to those in DIFC, Ladies Night and Brunch offers.
